National Museum: - comprises many archaeological and historical findings including the famous complete hominid fossil remains of `Lucy` locally known as Dinknesh meaning wonderful. Visiting this museum means having a good summary of Ethiopia with more sections such as the pre-historic era findings of the stone inscriptions clay materials, golden coins, and altars; treasures of different emperors who ruled Ethiopia in the 19 century of the Modern era; contemporary painting section with some sculptures, jewelry, and costumes.
Mount Entoto St. Mary Musem and Menelik II Palace: - It is the highest peak in Addis with an altitude of 3200 meters, which was the site for the first palace of Emperor Menelik-II, the founder of Addis Ababa. Here there is St. Mary church, where Emperor Menelik was crowned Emperor and you will admire the panoramic view of the city with its surrounding forests and the breathtaking air. At Entoto the Church museum with a very good collection of treasures and the Old and small thatched-roof Palace contains great history behind. In the nearby Entoto Park, you will see the panoramic view of the city.
